THE PROJECT AIM

The project aims at developing new tools for adult teachers and workplace instructors to assess vocational competence. Project partners are universities and vocational institutions from Finland, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and Great Britain. The partners develop a vocational teacher training module which concentrates on recognition, accreditation and assessment of prior learning. The training aims at developing the participants’ assessment skills as well as tools in cooperation with the participants for recognition and assessment of vocational competence in the initial phase of the qualification process. The project outcomes will be published in digital form and the products include basic information on assessment, assessment tools, examples of good practises and the project’s teacher training module with all its materials.

5. Finalising the tools and training module, publication of products / Apr 2008 – Sept 2008

FUNDING

Total budget 236,645 euros, of which Leonardo da Vinci grant comprises 171,915 euros.
